I'm always surprised what people forward me in email - mostly by my students, but sometimes by the well-meaning adults I know. Heart wrenching stories of the boy with cancer that we can save by signing a petition or the Supreme Court overruling life as we know it through some little-heard-of ruling.
Please don't believe everything you read. Check this first.
